Saree - Six Yards Of Possibilities

Kudos to your creativity. A saree the long and short one - can kindle an anthology to raise popularity of this wear. One loves it plain and also with border and phallu. Any size can have it . The patterns on it can make or mar the wearer thin and tall or stout & podgy.

In the genesis, saree had no companion except accessories made of gold and a green parrot
Later additions are the blouse
A plain white blouse would be a match always with any colour saree, any type of saree plain or printed- it is emergency blouse when no matching blouse available for intended saree to drape on.

There could be more than hundred methods of draping saree. Google throws lot of pages with this information. In south India longer Sarees traditionally worn on occasions & rituals in altogether different style. It is known as madisaru
When worn in this style there will not be lose end and saree would remain close and tight to the body! Temple goddesses are depicted to wearing madisaru.
