saree draping

    Do you wear heels?
    If yes, wear the heels and THEN start draping the saree. ie The saree should hide your heels when all done.

    If you have an hour glass shape, keep more pleats and tie it around the waist little (not too much) tight so the hip is accentuated.. like in this picture. [​IMG]
    Synthetics or cooton would suit such shape. Synthetic more preferably as it will be a good snug.

    If you are pear shaped, keep more pleats in pallu to widen the upper body to match the big back.

    If you are apple shaped.. well cotton/arganza would stand straight and make you look fuller from top to bottom.

    Just my 2 cents. :)
