Dear Vanaja
Thanks for posting these regularly. I read them but have not stopped to thank you before. Near my house there is a lady who is devotee of Sai Baba and has bhajans in her house every thursday. Recently she started veda classes on sunday and i went to attend. they are all planning to learn Rudram. I understand from her that Sai Baba has said for his followers to chant rudram.

Dear anandchithra,

The veda chanting is widely practiced in all Sai organizations.

In Puttaparthi, during darshan time, previously they used to play instrumental music when Swami steps in Darshan hall. For past few years, the music is replaced by Veda chanting. So, it has become necessary for all Sai devotees (both Men and Women) and organization people to learn Veda.

Moreover, Swami had performed "Adhi Rudhra Maha Yagnam" in Parthi and Chennai. This had inspired many of His followers to learn veda.
