    Running away from Reality.

I do not think there is anyone on this planet who can claim that he is a satisfied person or he has no unanswered questions, not even the so-called Gurus.

To me, dissatisfaction is the nature of existence, and unanswered questions are the only real answer. As long as we exist we have reasons to be dissatisfied with one thing or the other. Similarly, we have many unanswered questions.

    For me…

I feel like is more like “peeling an onion”..
    At the end…There is nothing!

No winning or losing..everything is Maya..
No questions which needs to be answered coz there is no absolute truth! Grass is always greener on the other side..

Only way out is living in the moment and enjoy the game of life!

People won’t be satisfied until we stop the game of comparison and just accept.

Such negative thoughts can assail anyone at any stage of his life. They can increase in frequency and severity as we grow older. Old age demands a lot of reorientation.
Adi Sankara's Bhaja Govindam beautifully takes us through the human mindset at different stages of life. I listen regularly to the musical rendering of this immortal verse by M S Subbalakshmi and I instantly feel at peace with myself.

    Dear Hari Sir,

The mind is a cauldron of thoughts. It is built by our perception of the world. In fact, it is difficult for an untrained mind to differentiate what is real and what is unreal. The world we see is what we perceive through our senses and ultimately how it is analyzed with the help of past experiences. The mind believes mostly what is perceived by our senses as real. It also uses its past experiences to determine the outcome.

Gratitude for what we have, acceptance of what happens beyond our control, and fortitude to bear the pain are all comes naturally to a trained mind. The entire life is for learning life skills and the humanity changes throughout life until everyone goes to the grave. Raga and Dvesa are like pendulum happening constantly in the mind resulting in pleasure and pain alternatively. Unpertubed and stable mind that establishes itself unaffected by the happenings achieves equanimity and emulate the consciousness.

A totally satisfied person for all time - there would be none. I tend to even believe Almighty too is not ever satisfied with his business.
Mankind lives or eke out a living and finally dies dissatisfied (?)
Even under inebriation or intoxication, the man remains unsatisfied with many questions or query.
I agree with @HariLakhera what he has propounded here.

Music is helpful. All these thoughts do come in old age but there is no way to confirm. So far so good but when young people try to figure out what they want in life and find no answer, resort to drugs and suicide. Maybe they have not been conditioned to believe to be happy with what they have and not compare with others.

    Dear Shri Viswa,
I am not so sure what defines a trained mind because the wheel keeps on circling. The moment it collapses, the training becomes questionable. The wheel of life also works this way. There are no fixed rules.

I think I have found the way. Be happy with what you have. No comparisons, no questions.

It may not be possible for a family man.
It is because behind him a spouse is there to goad and guide him to make more money to do more shopping for fashion fabrics, products, articles, accessories and in case she is hypochondriac buy all kinds of medicines equipments suggested in mass media and social websites.
The question of satisfaction would still remain with the person dead or alive even after attaining the feet of Lord.
As I reiterated previously, Almighty himself finds not satisfied with the status of the universe he had created and still from time to time ever busy to set it right by tinkering with it. He tries to set right to his satisfaction by creating force majeure like tsunami deluge erupting volcanos hurricane and other such disasters. If at all one feel satisfied, it could be with a meal and easy bowel movement in the next morning. I do thank God then and there every morning after satisfied bowel clearance.
When Tenali Raman was questioned by the King as to which is the most happiest satisfying moment in one's life you know what was his response!
