Knockouts are the most fuss free and easy to grow.
If you have hot humid summers and live in areas prone to blackspot most modern roses such as hybrid teas will require spraying to look their best. Knockouts will stay healthy without needing chemicals. And all roses do best in at least a half day of direct sun. Winter protection will again depend on your zone.
