This ridgegourd paratha turned out to be yummy, though i had my doubts regarding the taste.... Ridgegourd paratha Ingredients 1 cup grated ridgegourd 2 cups wheat flour 1/2 cup besan 1/2 tsp each haldi, chilly powder, garam masala powder Few coriander leaves Salt as per taste Method Knead all the ingredients to a smooth dough, add water only if required... Prepare parathas as usual. Gobi masala ~ no oil recipe Ingredients 1 cup blanched gobi florets 1 each onion and tomato 1 inch ginger and 3-4 garlic cloves 1/2 tsp each haldi, coriander powder, garam masala powder and red chilly powder Salt as per taste 2 tsp milk Method Grind together onion, tomato, ginger and garlic without adding water to fine paste. Heet a pan and add the ground paste, now add all the spice Powders, mix well and cook until color changes and the masala leaves the sides of the pan. Now add salt, gobi and a glass of water, adjust the consistency. Close and cook for 3-4 mins. Finally add the milk and give a quick stir, garnish with coriander leaves. Tomato pacchadi Ingredients 1/2 tsp ghee 1 ripe tomato 1cup beaten curd 1/2 tsp each chana dhal, urad dhal, mustard, haldi and hing 1 green chilly finely chopped Few curry and coriander leaves Salt as per taste Method Heat ghee in a pan add mustard, both the dhals, hing and saute until dhals change the color to slight brown. Quickly add green chilly, coriander leaf, curry leaf, tomato and haldi. Cook for 3-4 mins or until tomato softens. Cool this Add salt and curd and mix well. Enjoy your simple and healthy dinner
