Review - Snakes on a Plane

It’s a single line story which keeps u on the edge of your seat for 100 minutes. Sean Jones (Nathan Phillips) witnesses a murder by Chen Leong (Terry Chen). Chen tries to kill Sean but FBI Agent Neville Flynn (Samuel L. Jackson) rescues Sean from his room and requests him to help the Police, and to go with him to Los Angeles (they now are in Honolulu, Hawaii). Sean agrees to help.

Chen counters this by loading a huge crate full of poisonous snakes from all over the world. By some mechanism, the snakes would come out of the crate after a few hours. It creates panic in the plane, flying @ 30,000 feet.

Snakes start attacking everyone, including the Pilot! Due to the movement of snakes, almost everywhere, the wires and switches are damaged. When one of the Pilots goes and fixes them, he is also attacked.

Agent Flynn and his co-agent, act wisely, talk to LA and make arrangements for a doctor who helps them over phone. The doctor is not recommending any kind of first-aid to the passengers aboard as he does not know what type/kind of snake had attacked the passengers.

On sending him photographs thru internet, he finds that even on the US, it would take 3-4 days to get the Anti-venom for all the snakes…The doctor also adds that the snakes does not belong to a particular region, but have been collected from all over the World!

Meanwhile, the other Pilot is also dead…What will happen to the passengers? Who will fly the plane? Is there anyone experienced enough to handle the situation? Will people on ground be able to get the Anti-venom? …
