Pls find below some restaurants Ramji enjoyed when he was there last:

Udupi Cafe- University Drive- very good, tel no. in directory
Woodlands- Close to Coral String area-very good
Bombay Palace- somewhere near Sundrive (up north)- average

The ones recommended and he did not go were

Mexican- On the Border in Pembrooke Pine (excellent)

A Thai restaurant in Miami Lake area(name not jotted down, excellent)

In Oakland area there are many Indian restaurants serving non-veg food. They are generally supposed to be good.

Thanks Vidya for the suggestions. When you go to a totally new place, it is hard to know what the good restaurants are without doing some serious research. Posting here was an easy way to get that information.

Olive Garden is a safe bet and I went there once. I also went to Woodlands and it was great food. Took some american colleagues with me to Woodlands and they enjoyed it as well. Thanks Vidya.
