    hi ladies,
Actually i always had a very clean and good skin as far as i remember but past 3-4 months all of a sudden i have developed this patchy pigmentation on the face ,more on the cheek and also around the lips. Now every one who looks at me is zapped on whats gone wrong.I dont recall anything what might have led to it,though only thing which i can think is once i had gone to a parlour and that female bleached my face twice, saying that bleach had not affected 1st time, that time only i told he not to do it again but she said it is fine there would be no prob:bonk.
But it wasnt that there was an immediate reaction i feel that may have been a reason,it started gradually initially on cheeks and around my lips and then someone suggested me to use lemon on the face.i directly applied a lemon and kept it for sometime,as a result it lead to further darkening of my entire forehead, not patchy but generalised.:rant...
as a result my entire face has become patchy...and i am so upset.
i consulted a skin specialist and he gave me few ointments but they didnt show any effect...after 2 months i stopped usng anything...
and i also conceived the folowing month:rotfl.i was overjoyed and so stoped everything ,all medicines.
but now i again went to a party where all my relatives met and every one was like-whats wrong with u and again i was upset:rant.
some one recomnended another a skin specialist,so i went to him and told him bout my pregnancy also but he said its very difficult to remove hyperpigmentation once occured...but just gave 1-2 ointments again but i dont see much change and hate to look at myself in the mirror.
ladies,is there a way i can remove this patchy hyperpigmentation which has come since 3-4 months?i am realy upset.tell me something easy whcih can be done quickly at home, since i am a working person so cant do too many thngs on my skin but want to get rid of this prob asap...plz hep

i hear you. i have gone thru a similar problem. and i can understand the frustration.

but whatever u do, things will take its own course. thats what i learnt frm my experience. it will go away, thats certain, but might take some time. meanwhile try home remedies like potato juice etc on the hyperpigmented areas.

it takes time. be patient. ur skin will eventually return to normal. dont worry.

do a home fruit mask or sandal wood mask or almond milk mask conrinuously for a month..all pigmentation would disappear

    Hi kenny
I also have the same problem. And i have been trying many things , but all i have learnt in these 5 yrs is ....it cannot go back..... but yes u can hide it. And that is the only thing you can do. You have to use cream whichever is suitable for you. Like i used olay, which treats 4 issues together, pigmentation, sun protection, fairness and dark spots, and it really helped me.what u need to make sure is use a sun protection cream. But now i didn't get the same combination cream anymore. Right now i m using arabic cream, which is again helping me to hide the pigmentation. Remember once u leave using the cream. ... whichever suits you, definitely it appears back.

Hi Kenny have you been successful? It sounds like Melasma and to understand it perhaps you would like to read How to Treat Melasma: 12 Steps (with Pictures) - wikiHow. I have been using Monsia Skincare, moisturizer with SPF15. After several months use the one I have on my left cheek has faded but I know it will take more time for it to disappear completely. One thing to point out - you should use a moisturizer and a foundation that has SPF protection. Hope this points you in the right direction.

Need to update my previous post - #6 above. I was on Monsia Skincare's website a few days ago and I noticed that they have 2 new product lines, a Skin Lightening Cream and an Acne Treatment System!

    Hi Dear,

See as per you described I thought the pigmentation was there inside the skin layers and after may be sun exposer or hormonal changes before pregnancy it has come out and than it was become prominent. It is a skin problem and we have seven layers of skin and u r having hyper pigmentation which will take time to lighten up. the only way is to consult a good dermatologist and follow as he say have passions it will take time and lighten up but will not remove complitly. Dont go to beauty parlors. Dont apply any cosmetic product only follow the dr. there are few treatments also which is suggest by the dermatologists like peels and microdarmabration. minimum 6 to 8 sittings required with the gap of 15 days it can defer according to the dr. That is the only way.

    Cheers
