Hi All, We planned to relocate to banglore from chennai as my husband got a transfer there. Please throw some light on the cost of living,rental,schooling details about banglore. My husband office is in sarjapur road. My office is in ITPL. So planning to take home in between the two places. What place rent will be moderate ? Good CBSE schools in between these two places with moderate fees. It would be great if someone give some info on this.
Marathalli is mid-way. It is pretty crowded and there is a severe water shortage. ITPL is well connected. Lots of buses and your company may also be providing transport. There are several good schools like DPS on Sarjapur road. A 2 bed room apartment would cost about 15-20K. It goes up in premium flats of Sobha / Prestige. Lot of housing on Sarjapur road as well. At present, traffic is a nightmare. I would advice you to list down your criteria - Distance (and time) from School - Distance (and time) from Office - Maximum budget for rent - Distance from Hospitals - Distance from Mall (Entertainment) and so on
Hi Thanks for ur reply. Our main concern is distance to school and rent.Others is secondary and optinal. As far as i enquired there are many international schools charging around 1l/year. I am not ready for that kind of school.Also rent is i can spend only up to 15k. School distance is within 5km i am looking.Could you please tell me any good schools in that area with moderate fees so that we can search flat in that area.
Rammurthynagar, Marathalli is best area.. Rent - 10-15K for 2bhk apartment/independent house. School - You can find lotsss of schools in all areas in Blore, you can search for schools, get fees details from them and decide.
Dear Sudha, Please check this link and write to them regarding fees. I was surprised when I came back that there are so many "international" schools. My niece goes to Ryan International but they are just not happy. We had JSS in Dubai and it was easy to move to JSS here.
