KR ODHA
Krodha means ANGER. Anger n our daily life cause High Blood preasure to that
person If it is not controlled it may lead to heart attack and DEATH even.
If a person is always in angry Mood He will loose Good will and friendship with
others.If he happened to be the head of the family and if he shows anger to the
members of his wife and family at his home ,He cannot be happy by himself and he cannot mahe his family members be happy.We can find such situation in a family where the Head of the family is addicted to any vice like Alcohal or
any other type. If the officer is Angry over his subordinates in an office Frequently things cannot be done smoothly in that office .Any how accrding to Bagavat Geetha chp 2,sloka 63 a perso who is in excessive Anger will ruin
Himself in His life.

Dear ILits,
LOBHA :--LoBha means Miserlyness. A person who Earns good wealth but
never utilise it either for him or for any others but hoards it is called "LOBHI".
We can find such persons Here and There in our society.This is one of the worst quality of a Man.
To my astonishment I saw in a News paper(Daily) that a beggar was found
dead with starvation at road side. Photo was also published. On enquiry it came to know that that beggar used to sit at vinayak Temple 2 days in aweek
and at venkateswara temle for two days and at other junctions on other days for begging. Of course it is common to all most all beggers in our india.He is
old and week. He had a blanket with many folds and a metal Bowl as his only
belongings.As he has no kith and kin after death his body was handed over to
publiic martury and his blanket and bowel wre given to another begger by the
public.But the new begger refused the blanket and throwd it Forcibly before
them only.Then every one observed that some notes fell down on the ground
from his Blanked.Then they throughly searched all the pockets of the blanket
and they wondered to see that there are Two thousand Rupees(All are notes)
inside the blanked. That is this news was immidiately published in the News
paper? What is this ? Is he really a beggar?This is all his miserliness.He used
to satisfy looking to the money .He do not want to utilise his money at least for his basic needs.What a fool He is?
THere are people of similar type in Middle class as well as Rich Families also .They never spend by themselves or allow their family members
even to spend for basic needs also even though they can afford. We observe
This type of nature in some people from their boyhood days.They do not want
'to utilise their own articles although they are in good condition,they utilise
the articles of their friends or relatives keeping their own articles in Tact.
( cheppals,towels,soaps,pens,etc )
In general Hoarding wealth For their future generations without utilising
for their self even is in our indian blood.Any how this is a very bad quality for
Human beings by which they Ruin themselves.

Dear ILits,
let us discuss about MOHA one of ARI SHAD VARGA
MOHA means PASSION(A Strong DEsire) . A person may have a strong desire
over other person/place/object. This is called MOHA.THis is due to the constant Association of the person with another person /place/object. Suppose in an office A man is moving with a women in the same office closely
in their official duties and if the age group of both is the same then there is achance of developing MOHA one with each other.This may lead them to violate rules of society and to get married with each other.They may forget their previous Martial status also . This is one of the causes for divorces in a society.MOHA is such powerfull attitude that the person may leave Moral values even. Men may develope passion towards his wife,children,kithand kin,
properities etc. This will lead him to form strong vaasanas in his mind at the
time of his death and make him to born again again. To get MOKSHA one must
leave MOHA on all worldly objects. MO(HA)+KSHA(YA)=MOKSHA.
Moha Kshyam is called MOKSHA. If u remove HA from MOHA and YA from
KSHYA we get MOKSHA. DEstruction of Moha leads to MOKSHA.

Dear ILits,
Only due to the Quality of MOHA in Rakshasaas LORD VISHNU by dancing in the Form of a beautiful women, was able to Distribute " AMRUTAM"
to DEVATAs only. Even then one Rakshasa who was out of MOHA was able to detect this bais of vishnu joined in the group of Devatas, able to get AMRUTA
and consumed. It was detected by SURYA and CHANDRA reported the matter to
vishnu,then Vishnu cut off the head of the demon with his chakra.But due to the consumptio of AMRUTAM he was not dead but made into Two(Rahu and
Ketu)
It was due to the Quality of MOHA only one Rakshasa by name BHASMASURA was burnt into Ashes during his dance.This was a boon granted
by lord SHIVA as " On Whose head BHASMASURA places his hand that fellow will be burnt to ashes".Bhasmasura wants the boon to be tested on SHIVA
himself. What to do?. Then SHIVA ran to VISNU for rescue.Then Vishnu planned.He asked Bhasmasura to take bath and to test it.When Bhasmasura returned from Bath LORD VISHNU appeared in the form of a beautiful young Lady "MOHINI" before Bhasmasura and
asked that Asura to dance in accordance with her.Due to MOHA on that lady
He did so. During the course of his Dace and to imitate that lady he put his own hand on his head only .Immediately He was burnt into Ashes as per the BOON.So Moha is such a great enemy to human beings that it will ruin their life.THe same is with women also. MOHA is nothing but an attachment.Only
when we Detach with this worldly affairs we can Realize self and free from the
cycle of Birth and Death.
Some may develope this MOHA on their pet Dogs,pet cats.I have seen
in the news paper that A person Wrote a "WILL"( A Bond to be executed after the Death of a Person) just before his death in which he mentioned clearly
To utilise his full properity to the welfare of his pet Dog only.He had no sons or daughters of his own.He has not given to any Orphan Homes.He has not
given for the welfare of any human organisationn.This is all due to his MOHA
on his pet Dog. What a silly thing it is! MOHA makes the Man to loose his
WISDOM.we often see such Incidents Here and There.This is one of the great weekness of Human mind. We can seein our puranas also that whenever a person Begins to do Tapas Indra used to send His Apsarasas( Dancers) to dance before him to disturb him and to create MOHA in him witha fear that He
may Demand his position as a Boon for his Tapas.

Let us Discuss about the Next enemy "MADHA"
MADHA means PRIDE.
We can observe in most people, this Quality.For example RAVANA is pruoud of his power of boons he got by his Tapas.Similar is the case with other Rakshasas like HIRANYAKSHA,(HIRANYAkASIPA) BHASMASURA, KUMBAKARNA,
KAMSA etc Some people are proud of their wealth,some about their Power as long as they are in position,some are proud of their children if they are well
educated and settled in a good job.As long as this pride is within limits i.e
upto their family members only it is not harmfull but if they show this pride
over others( insulting them,not caring them,belittling them)it will cause harm
to them.
In general in our middle class society MILs are proud of their sons If they
are loyal to their mothers,and if they are well setteled in life,well educated.
Taking this as an advantage they harase their DILs very much.this is bad. The
pride in general follows with Richness,High edction,More man power etc.Due
to the Man power only KAURAVAS refused to give pandavas their Brotheren,
their share of Kingddom and begin to face them in War.They are also proud
of having Elders like Dhrona,Bheesma, and Krupacharya ,and warriors like Karna,Aswaddhama ,and a huge number of Army on their side than pandavas
side.But they have forgotten the Divine Help( Lord Krishna) on the side of pandavas.Their Righteousness itself is a great help than Human help.So in general We can conclude that pride is foolish and an enemy to Human beings.

Dear ILits,
Let us Now proceed to anotherone I.e MATSARYA
MATSARYA means JEALOUSY.This quality is present in almost all human beings at all stages.say when there are two
students studying in the same school and same class, although they are neighbours if A gets more marks than B then B Forms ealousy over A.In a side by side family also if one family is wealthier than the other then the poor family develops jealousy over the Rich family.There is a small story about this.
Once there were Two persons who are equal in all respects but they are jealous of each other.Let us name them as LAMBU
and JUMBU. once Lambu started penance(TAPAS)about GOD to
get a boon from him for more riches.knowing this Jumbu also
started TAPAS for the same purpose. After a long time GOD
appeared before Jumbu and asked him to reveal his wish to
sanction him a relavant Boon.Then he asked God wheather he
approched Lumbu,and if so what his desir is? GOD said to jumbu that he has not approched lumbu.Then jumb asked the GOD to go first to Lumbu and then to him (Jumbu) and to
reveal his(Lumbu's) desire.God approched lumbu and asked
for his desire.But Lumbu also said like This.Then God returned to jumbu.He also said like this .Thus the God was made to run
here and there for several times.Being annoyed God said to Lumbu to disappear for ever from them with out any Boon.
Then lumbu asked the God to sanction him double that
whatever is sanctioned to Jumbu.Then God approched Jumbu
and told him the words of Lumbu.Then being jealous of Lambu, Jumbu asked God as a Boon tomake his one Eye Blind.
GOD sanctioned so. Then Automatically the Two eyes were made Blind to Lumbu as per his (Lambu)request only.Thus the Quality of jealousy made the Two(Lambu and Jumbu)to loose their Eyes instead of getting wealth from God as a Boon after a great TAPAS.How foolish they are?

Dear ILits,
In addition to the above six Qualties (Enemies) There are Two more Qualities
which are obstacles for a man for his spiritual progress and liberation (Moksha). They are RAAGA and DWESHA. let us see what they are?
RAAGA means affection. The best Example for this is Mother's affection
towards her children.This causes attachment of mother withher children.This is nodoubt a bondage to her.similarly a man show Raaga towards his wife and
vice versa.They think that they ae doing their duty to the best.In fact no person is is connected to the other person.We are all took birth according to our "Karma".we are in no way connected to the "karma:"of others. That is why
in a same family all sons will be treated Equally but one will be prosprerious and shine in life but the other will fell ill and downgrade. That does not mean
that parents should not take care of their children.It can be upto minimum.
DWESHA means Hatredness.THis Quality is Sister of jealousy. generally we
hate a thing or a person which/whom we do not Like.In general hatredness
or liking is in our mind only. A thing which likes by one may be hated by another.This likes and dislikes depends entirely on circumastaces and
environement.On practce we can cultivate liking over disliking objects/events
for example some may have disliking about KARNATAKA music but if they constantly listen and understand it they can dvelope liking.We can see some
foreigners are proficient in KARNATAKA music as well as BHARATHANATYAM.
similarly in other fields also.
Though they are not included in the list of ARISHADVARGA they are
desirable to be mentioned here.So We can conclude that though we cannot
completely Eradicate these evils from our mind By constant efforts WE must
Reduce to the minimum to lead a peaceful life not only in this birth but also
in future births.

Sri Geetha Mahatmyam

part 1
SRI GEETHA MAHATMYAM which means The Greatness of
Geetha as proclaimed by Lord VISHNU himself.
When Dhevatas and others asked Lord VISHNU "How a constant Devotee(Bhakta) who is enjoying "prarabda karma"
can be avoided?
They put this Question because under normal conditions
(nature's Law) Prarabdakarma is to be enjoyed (Good/Bad) in
this present Birth inevitably.Actually This Birth ( Body,longevity,
Shape,size,Relationships,prosperity,Diseases,etc everything) is
formed in accordance with Prarabdha karma only.
Then VISHNU replied That Those who constantly practice
GEETHA will be free from prarabdakarma,He will be Happy
in this world.
just as the position of water drop on "Nalini dala"(lotus
leaf)i.e without wetting the leaf even the Greatest sinners
can lead their life (Those who practice Geetha constatly)
without effected by the world.
Where Geetha is Read and practiced by People,That place is Equal to our Thrthakshetra(Holy place)like "prayaga" "Varanasi"etc.That is it is a Holyplace.
The help of Narada and other sages will be for those people who practice Geetha constantly.
"I wll present there only where Geetha is Heard,Read,
and Discussed frequently.This is definite" are the words of lord vishnu.

Lord VISHNU furthur replied "I will be there always where GEETHA recites always,and I rule the whole world from there only as per Geetha principals.Geetha is the supreme BRAHMAN. There is no dubt about it.
One who reads Geetha(all the 18 chapters) Daily with
concentrated Mind,will get perfect Knowledge and at the end ( After death) he wll attain Liberation(Moksha).
If one Reads and follows Half of the Full Text He will get
The Benifit of GO DAANAM.
If one Reads and follows one third of the Full Text of Geetha He will get the Benifit( punyam ) of Dip in River GANGES.
If One Recites Regularly One sixth of Total GEETHA he will
get the bnifit of a person who performed "SOMA YAGA"
If one Recites Regularly One chapter Daily with Devotion
He will Get "RUDRALOKHA" and Resides with "RUDRAGANAS"
for a long Time.
If one reads at least one sloka Daily with "Shradda" and
faith he he will be having Human Births for a period of one
"MANU"

Dear Ilits,
If one reads 4,5,7,or 10 Slokas Of Geetha Daily and those that read 3,2,1or half Slokas Daily with Devotion
They Reach (After death) CHANDRA LOKHA and remain there for different periods as per their performance.
Those who did greatest Sins also if they are interested to
listen Geetha regularly, will go to VYKUNTAM(After death) and
live there for some Time.
Those who read GEETHA regularly without this Mahathmayam at the End they cannot get the Benifit of reading Geetha.So it is a must to every one to read This Mahatmyam
at the end of Reading Geetha Everyday Whatever portion of
Geetha they read .
