Re: The Three States of Livingbeings Dear ILits, Let us proceed furthur to know in this subject. We observe in this world men of Two schools of thought about God,karma etc .The First school of thought is that "Nothing is in the hands of man.Every thing is in the hands of God.we are all dolls to him.He is playing with all of us as he likes for his Enjoyment. The entire universe is under his control". The second school of thought is that "There is no Godlike. This is allnature.Every thing in this universe is as per the nature's laws.Animate and Inanimate(living and nonliving things also) objects should obey this law of natureincluding Man. of course There are some other people who never mind these things I.ethis nature ,god, before and after death etc. They wish to enjoy their life following Omarkayyam's philosophy "Drink,DIne and dance".We need not touch(study about ) such people now. The third type of people are there who say that "Man is superior in this universe. He is able to Earth out trasures from beneath the earth and from underthe sea and is able to land on other planets and so he can do and undo things as he likes Among these different typesof people a common Man is confused which is true and which is false. So let us examine one by one with our knowledge in ournext part. Bye Sd/sastry
Re: The Three States of Livingbeings Dear Ilites, Let us Proceed Furthur in the topic.I mentioned who follow " Omarkayyam philosophy". This is also called "Charvaka philosophy".This is an old method of philosophy usd to follow by some sect of people at all times. According to this "Let us not think about GOD,REBIRTH,PAPA or PUNYA. Let us enjoy with whatever material wealth we have to the maximum through out life." DRINK,DINE and DANCE is the main basis of this principle. When we think of this type of people Itappears to be good to befollowed by all of us because However deep we may think about these issues we cannot come to a conclusion. Different people say in different ways. No one can say which is true and which is false. But when we seriously thinkabout this is it the proper way of living?is the very purpose of our birth is for enjoymentonly ?where is end (satisfaction) for this enjoyment?is man not superior creature than all the other creatures in this Univrse? is he utilising his special merit of INDEPENDANT THINKING about this creation? What are the answers expected from the above type of people for these questions? Let us discuss about this next time Thank Q bye Sd/sastry
Re: The Three States of Livingbeings Dear ILits, in the last part we discussed about the people of Omarkayyam philosophy.when we put sme questions about God ,rebirth etc They cannot answer. It shows their Ignorence as wellas innosence. That type of nature is almost animal Nature. An animal cannot think of nature, creator, birth etc as it has not provided the power of Independant thinking by nature(GOD) Those who cannot use their mental abilities can be grouped under the same category.so we can set aside them. Now let us take those people who say that" Man is superior than all.He can do and undo things if he desires. No god is there ."This type of thinking is totally wrong because no doubt man created many things with his powerof intelligence ,there are limitations for his knowledge also.at least man cannot extend his longevity as much as he wants. He is able to utilise nature for him but he cannot conquer it.so this idea of mans superiority is also a wrong concept. some super natural power must act in nature under whose control this universe operates. we shall discuss next time. BYe Sd/sastry
Re: The Three States of Livingbeings Dear ILits, let us proceed furthur in this topic. We can come to a conclusion that Man's superiority however powerful, intelligent he may be is in no way useful.Whatever inventions made by him (like supersonic planes, communication skills etc) are just like Toys prepared and played by a child for hs satisfaction. so let us consider the thought of those people that " This creation, birth, death etc everything is in the gods hands.we are nothing to do"If we accept this concept is fully true Why there are many differences in the living conditions? Is God partial towards some people? can we call such a persn as GOD?Why shoud we pray God when we are dolls in the hands of god.He will play as per his wish.when he do not hear our prayers there is no need of these Temples, prayers, pujas, vrathams etc. This concept cannot be true because the very faith on god for us is different. Then what must be the reason for these disparities in differnt human and animal lives? It must be due to the fruits for The actions done by themselves either in this birth or in their previous births. There is no other possibility. So there is Birth after death ,This was stated by Lord KRISHNA in BHAGAVATGEETA as jatasya hi dhruvo maranam......... which means that the death follows the birth and so on. this cycle follows for all jeevas(individual souls)forever.this is unavoidable for all.So let us discuss the Role of individuals during their life time next time Bye Sd/sastry
Re: The Three States of Livingbeings Dear ILits, Let us continue furthur. We came to understand that Man is solely responsible for his way of living in this birth. IT is the result of his own actions in his previous birth or births. This is due to the reason that every action performed by him cannot yield fruit (Ripe) immediately. We see in nature that all trees cannot give fruits or flowers in the same time. some plants yield flowers daily(action is quick).some plats yield flowers/fruits seasonal(Time taking). There is a plant in nature which yield flowers nly once in 12 years. The nature of flowers/fruits/crop depends mainly upon the nature of the seed we plant.Because these seeds are being sowed by us only, we know the nature and utility of the yield for us. Similar is the case with our actions. The result will be according to the nature and and quantity of our actions. But the difference is that we(human beings) do not know the exact result for a particular Action. It is according to the law of nature(GOD).It is beyond our control. That is what actually Mentioned by LORD KRISHNA in "BHAGAVAT GEETA" "karmanni eva adhikaaraste maa phaleshu kadaachana" chapter 2,sloka 47. The meaning is "you have Right to do a particular karma(Action) but u have no right to demand a particular kind(desired) of result. The result follows the karma by a certain rule which is equally applicable to all and no one can alter this rule. We know one thing only that all Good actions yield Good results and all Bad (evil) actions yield bad result only. Bye More in nextpart Sd/sastry
Re: The Three States of Livingbeings Dear ILits, let us go furtur. So it is definite that our own karma (actions) only leads our destiny. But the pity is Majority of the people do not thinkof it at all.Even some are in that view they cannt do good karma only due to circumastances. They are Heridatary and Environmental effects. people who move with godminded, pious people, and born in such a family where all members always observe goodmannersdevotion of god, observe rituals, goodtraditions, etc naturally follow the same method.similarly people who live with parents, friends having habits of drinking, playingcards and other vices also naturally go in that route only. One cannot go against the sorrounding conditions.Of course there may be few exceptions. In general jeeva( sukshma sareera) will choose such a family to take birth in accordance to its actions in its previous birth/births.So let us conclude this post with the following conclusions. 1)OUT OF THREE STATES conscious state isimpotant in which the actions perfomed wil be given fruit to be enjoyed by the Doer 2) OF all the living beings HUMAN beings only have power to do Actions as per their will. 3)Man must do actions in this birth keeping in view of his future birth. Re: LiFE Hi, According to me, life is a Journey between Birth and Death. God has sent us to the earth with a purpose. HE will never do anything without any purpose. Each one of us has got certain responsibilities in our life, which we need to fulfill them. Some of us understands our responsibility and lead life towards that.. while some others doesn't. Warm Regards, Anandhi Ghiri
BODY and MIND Dear I.Lits, Let us discuss about Body n Mind. we cannot imagine a Body without a Mind and vice versa. We can visualise our own body and bodies of others also. But we cannot visualise our own mind as well as of others also. The reason is that we are visualising things through our mind only. In general we are getting knowledge from outside the world through our mind only but not our senses.our sensory organs are only to carry the messages to and from the mind.To a certain extent our Body can be compared with a computer. Our brain is the Mother Board ,Ram n Rom,and processor.our sensory organs are Input output Devices, and mind is the software. The nervous system is bus connections. our circulatory system which supply energy constantly to the Brain as well as limbs is power supply to all the parts of the system. As a computer is not useful with out a software our body is also useless without mind. Our body is formed on the basis of two principles. They are 1) you are what you ate. 2) you are what you think. Let us examine one by one.If we think of the first principle all of us know that rich Nutrient food helps us to build up healthy Body.we can get sufficient energy to enable all the parts of the body to function well. This is also makes the mind to function prperly.Thre is a saying that "A Sound mind is in a sound body".when we are physically weak or suffering from any ailement of a bodywe cannot concentrate our mind on any spritual practice or on any mental activity of day to day needs. cntinue.... in the Next part Bye Sd/sastry
