Ananth nag is a charmer and i love his movies, not the usual hero kinda movie.... I like vijay sethupathy in tamil for his versatile and natural acting.... Yes watched bahubali, but i loved rana daggubati.... Have watched manichitrathal in Malayalam with subtitles for shobana... I am a big fan of K Balachander’s movies....
I heard the marathi movie sairat is good.... i dont mind watching movies with subtitles... Ya geets, agree with you... even i love realistic and offbeat movies....
Heard a lot of good reviews for the kannada movie rangitaranga, uturn and kirik party.... haven’t watched the three yet.... Watched lucia sometime back and loved it.... the tamil version wasnt that great... enakul oruvan.... Then i like maniratnam’s mouna ragam, such a beautiful and well narrated movie....
Nothing and noone can recreate the magic of malgudi days like shankar nag did.... The simplicity of the show, the title music, and the lead actor master manjunath....
Ya Nandu, Sairat was a nice movie. The content is the same old formula but the treatment and acting sets it apart. The heroine, Rinku Rajguru, has done a good job. In Kannada it was remade as Manasu Mallige retaining the same heroine. Music was too good! You can catch up with it on YouTube. Malgudi days was iconic. But...I don't like Shankar Nag, I feel he was too unpolished unlike sauve Anant Nag.
