Bhumi looked weird because she had done plastic surgery (lip fillers). I’m not sure why she did that as she looked good in her old movies.
I wish Zeenath Aman, Milind Soman would have lengthy roles. I didn’t recognize Chunkey Pande. Ishaan Kattar had stolen the series with his charming looks and acting.
I hope season 2 will be more interesting.

Aakhri Sach. Based on the Burari deaths, this is a grim howdunnit 6 episode webseries. Tammanah Bhatia essays the role of a cop who is plagued by her own demons. The acting by each member of the family, the locations and the direction is very good. Of you are a fan of sordid and dark web series theme based off real cases, this one is pretty good.

Watched the web series 24 the Hindi version first season. I loved it!!! Its a thriller with 24 episodes that takes place over 24 hours. Each episode focuses on 1 hour starting midnight. Anil Kapoors and Mandira Bedis acting as Anti Terrorist Unit agents are spot on. Each episode has many twists and turns and the first season keeps us guessing who the mastermind is till the very end. Some people may find it too detailed but I enjoyed the details a lot.

I cannot wait to start Season 2!!

Review of Ayali (Tamil Web Series):

Ayali is a bold and thought-provoking Tamil web series that dares to question deeply entrenched patriarchal traditions through the eyes of a spirited teenage girl. Set in a conservative village, the series beautifully captures the internal conflict between blind faith in oppressive customs and the yearning for freedom and education.

The standout performance comes from Abi Nakshatra, who plays Tamizhselvi with fierce conviction and quiet strength. Her portrayal makes you root for her every step of the way. The writing is sharp, and the narrative balances emotional depth with moments of warmth and rebellion.

The character portrayed by her mother is extremely strong and woman centric. Each and every other supporting cast has done a fabulous job as well.

Visually rich and culturally rooted, Ayali doesn't preach—it provokes thought, making it a must-watch for anyone who values progressive storytelling grounded in social relevance.

A powerful watch that leaves a lasting impact. Dont walk RUN and watch this one!!

I cannot recommend this highly enough. Its my most favorite web series of all that I have watched till now.

Im watching Breathe Into the Shadows S2 after finishing the same S1. Brilliant performance by Nithya Menon, Amit Sadh and Abhishek Bacchan ( I usually dont like him).

It starts very slow and keeps you guessing till middle of theS1. But even after you know whodunnit, the thrill is how will 'they' (as I dont want to give away if its a he or she) will be caught.

S2 picks up from where S1 left off and is more quick paced than S1.

    12 episodes in S1 and 8 in S2.

All in all go watch. (But not with kids as it has a lot of gore and murder. )

Having said that its still a good psychological thriller.

Watched School of Lies. Set in an idyllic hillstation, the story revolves around a missing child and several bubbling tensions in an elite boarding school. Eventhough it was slow paced I enjoyed the locales, the school itself and the characters. One time watch

I thought KDramas were awesome but CDramas blew my mind away.

I watched all the 36 episodes of My Heroic Husband which is a CDrama on Prime. This is the second CDrama that I watched and loved, the first one being Love Game in Eastern Fantasy on Netflix.

I enjoyed both these CDrama web series immensely.

My Heroic Husband is about a man in present times whose soul gets switched with that of another man from the Wu Dynasty who is about to get married the next day as a matrilocal husband.

Love Game in Eastern Fantasy is a CDrama where the female lead gets trapped in a fantasy video game and has to complete all tasks before she can go back to the real world.

While My Heroic Husband has 36 episodes, the story is not complete. It stops at a point but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Watch both these CDrama series and enjoy.

I watch CID on Netflix. A new episode is released each week. Its been on since my childhood and I dont ever want it to stop eventhough at times episodes are copycats or illogical. Love ACP Pradyuman and his team of bravehearts viz Abhijeet, Daya, Purvi, Pankaj, Dr Salunkhe, Dr Tarika, Shreya and Dr Gargi. I hope it never stops airing.
