Recipes with dates and raisins

    LO is almost 12 months old and I have never intorduced dates and raisins...I don't even know how to introduce them.

    Can anyone please give me any recipes or ideas as to how to introduce them?

    hi, u can make cookies & banana bread by using dates & raisin , its gve really good taste.

    sudha i give Z dalia with dates ever since she was 7.5 months old... think i hv posted the recipe under 6-9 section. do chk!its a very nutritious porridge

    Sudha - I add crushed dates or raisins to DS's porridge to give the sweetness.. almost everytime (coz I surmise jaggery too :( ), if it isn't a salt-based porridge.

    started ds on dahlia with dates too with poo's recipe, but you know the rest of the story !

    Hey,

    I am not sure if you get Dates Syrup over there...They are really good..I mix it along with my Son s milk ..Sometimes he has 2-3 three spoons of the syrup plain..You can also spread the Syrup inbetween two biscuits and give him.Check in you Indian Stores for Dates Syrup(Lion Dates Syrup)..

    And regarding Raisins..My DS loves them and eats them plain.. :)
