When is the 1st Roza starting at your place? I live in Shanghai, China. Here it starts from tomorrow inshallah. Sehri finishes by 3:20am and iftaar by 7:02pm.
Ramadan Mubarak to all of you ! want to add one thing.No,it is not a recipe.... Though it is good to make special recipes for Iftaar but you all may have observed that for many women folk...most of the time of a day goes in preparing Iftaari. which is not the purpose and which should not be the purpose. Try to spend less time in cooking n in trying time consuming recipes...! Though my intention is not to discourage posting recipes here...hope you all understood my point.
Pheni: Ingredients: Maida milk butter oil sugar syrup for coating Prepare dough by mixing maida milk and oil it should be roti consistency. leave for 1hr to set then roll out big chapathi spread butter over it, dust with maida and fold the chapathi inward to form a log now cut the pedas out of the chapathi log and roll out small puri's deep dry in medium hot oil till crisp remove from oil and dip in hot sugar syrup for 1min and keep to drain. enjoy once it cools off. It can be stored for 8 to 10days. So im ready with this for next 10 roza's. PS: Pic is not very clear. sorry my DD dint allow me to take a better one.
