As I get older, I am becoming an emotional being which is part of becoming a senior. I used to be strong-minded. However, when my mind is occupied full-time with solutions to make money, it has no time to face a mental health issue which is why I am keeping myself busy even though I am 70 years old. I feel retirement brings with it some mental health issues.

Item 8 my random choice to be in relationship. Single at 80+ would be depressive. Age 80+ one got to hv prop or support. Difficult to imagine remain alone aloof 24×7 . An unselfish spouse at proximity is helpful and it has to be mutual! Thanks & Regards
This reply of yours made me cry sir. I lost my mom few months ago and she was 65 years old. My dad is 72 years old and living all by himself now. Your post is totally very true and hard to live alone at that age. No one can replace the spouse when you are at that age and have had a good companion. I never knew your were 80+ sir. Thank you for your heartfelt wishes. God Bless your family & you. Indeed my words are from core of my heart and others as well sailing in similar boat. As I read your lines, my eyes turned moist and jerked a tear. That set my mind in contemplation of many of my friends including the bosom 7. My spouse was unwell for a few days. After that when she found am sick she miraculously turned alright and wonder how she drew energy and concentration to look after me. It is all "Ëesan seyal". Regards

The worst part of being in foreign land is, we can't spend enough time or be there always for the parents. After my mother's demise, my thoughts of going back to India keeps haunting me and I hope I will make a wise decision soon. Sorry Anika and other members for spamming your post with other thoughts.
