    Hi all,

    Thanks for this thread, though i am a late comer, I am happy that I got to see this thread.

    We have moved to OMBR layout just 2 weeks back. Actually we are looking for a single bedroom apartment or house in and around OMBR, Kamanahalli, Kalyan nagar etc.

    If anyone comes across like this, please let me know. Our budget is around 6K to 8K rent.

    Swaran , just finished going through all the posts on this thread. :) Really you have done a wonderful job..

    I moved to OMBR Layout in 2008 Dec after marriage , was in BTM earlier to that for 3 yrs . April 2012 came back to bangalore after 2.4 yrs in US..

    So was looking for some updated personal services in/around nearby areas to banaswadi.
    Hope I too contribute more to this thread in future.

    ***Salwar suit Tailor **
    I tried 'Glada Tailors' ( small shop next to SRR Kalyan Mantap, OMBR layout) for Salwar suit.
    Charges - 175 Rs for without Lining.
    Delivery - on Time
    Fitting - Average ( got salwar stitched for home wear , so no complaints)

    Glada Tailors - he takes only Salwar suit for stitching.

    For blouse I am yet to try a tailor in Banaswadi( Will be giving next week for stitching to a tailor my SIL suggested ) . All my Wedding blouses earlier I gave for stitching at Indiranagar- Tassels Boutique.

    Hi Ladies,
    Another update..

    This tailor lady who had shifted her tailor shop to kammahalli has come back to her original place..BANASWADI near BALDWIN SCHOOL ...spoke to her yesterday and she said that they had some issues and hence shifted back to the original place..no more the shop is in KAMMANAHALLI(near bakefield bakery) but would be near RASHI DIAGNOSTICS CENTRE,BALDWIN SCHOOL,BANASWADI

    but i found the price the same as how they charged in Kammahalli(a little high)...
    gave 2 crape blouses for stiching and the cost that was put was
    300 for each blouse(with lining)
    100 for each blouse for the designing(this i felt could have been 75 Rs but it was a good design and i dont mind paying 100 for it because of the design,ok)

    so overall the cost for each blouse with lining and design was 400Rs which is little costly..300Rs would be fine is what i feel..previously they said since they have shifted to a new shop and so the cost was high(rent,the other costs etc)
    anyways i ll ask her next week(couldnt meet her personally and only her assistant gave the bill)
    Will update you all with the price next week :)

    Any review/feedback for "Apsara Fashion Tailors" near Uttam Sagar hotel ?

    Seems like a busy shop, so was planning to try out.
