Sorry for the late reply.
Thanks for your lovely comments, I pick up untreated wood frames when I go to Chennai, you get them at all frame shops (this is the raw material that they polish and design for framing), then I paint and decorate them to match my picture. In this case it is painted and then glitter glue has been rubbed all over the frame to give the sandy finish.
