    Hi friends ,
    I would like to share a recipe with u all.

    BESAN KE GATTE, it is a famous recipe of rajasthani,no rajasthani food is complete without this.
    It tastes delicious.

    INGREDIENTS
    1 cup gram flour
    salt
    haldi,
    red chilli powder
    cumin,fennel,ajwain seeds
    2to 3 tbsp of oil
    METHOD:
    1] Mix everythg in besan,make a tight dough,roll it into long rolls and cut it into small pcs.
    2] Now boil these gattas in water till starts floating on water or taste
    it to not tobe raw.
    3]Make a mixture of 2 cups of thick curd, red chilli pwd, haldi and coriander pwd. Now heat 1 tbsp of oil,add panchporan masala[cumin,mustard,onion,fennel and fenugreek seeds], a pinch of asafoetida[hing]curry leaves,
    whole red chillies,add the curd mixture.Cook it on low flame till oil seperates.
    4]Add boiled gattas, cook it for a while, then add water[in which gattas were boiled] and salt.boil it till the gravy gets thick or as per your choice.
    5] Garnish with green coriander leaves and garam masala.

    Note; if gattas are leftover, make gatta pulao same as vege pulao.
    THESE GATTAS CAN BE MADE IN ONION GARLIC AND TOMATO GRAVY IF YOGHURT IS NOT AVAILABLE.REST OF THE PROCEDURE IS SAME.
