    Hi ashwini

    We call it Curd pachadi/raita

Well for this you can add all the uncooked veggies what you like...

    For eg.

Onions,TOmato, carrot(scraped),beetroot(scraped),green chillies, corainder leaves, curry leaves, salt to taste, cucumber, pepper (if needed) along with curd and serve as a side dish for briyani or pulao..

    Optional radish

    Ashwini,

You can make the raita as follows:-

    1. Finely small cut onion, cucumber, tomatoes.
    2. Beat curd along with green chillies/ pepper and little salt
    3. Add all the cut veggies
    4. Finally add corriander and mix

    Another alternative.
    1. Grate beetroot
    2. Beat curd and mentioned about.
    3. This will give a nice pinkish texture and can be used along with biryani.

Though the first one is most preferred with biryani the latter can be used for innovation.
