    After such an energetic song and dance on the smooth and wet floor, Phisalna zaroori tha. A good song featuring Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta.:)

    1. Bhaagey re man mera from Chameli. Started to like this song after listening to it autoplay following the more known Sajna ve song from the movie. Rahul Bose dark and brooding, and Sanjana Kapoor in a fiesty role.

    2. Koi ladki hai from Dil To Pagal Hai. I usually cannot stand Shahrukh Khan acting, leave alone singing. But in this song, the rain, the little kids, Madhuri's smile and dance .. Used to listen a lot to this song in the 90's and early 2000's.

    3. Ab ke Sawan Aise Barse by Shubha Mudgal. What a voice! A strong voice. I listen to this song many times after a gap of years, and feels so great. Was released way back in 2001! The little snippets of daily life in the video, Shubha herself so vibrant... She is wearing a bold colored saree and gets drenched too, but it all remains about the rain.

    Damn! Rats! Rain! It just didn't strike me. That is sound-blast! That is rain hungama and the spirit of rain encased in one ghata orotund voice. I LOVE THAT SONG! Rihana, I LOVE THAT SONG SO MUCH! Ancient memories.

    The tempo of Mudgal singing builds up splendid and groovy after the gargling and coughing of alley men. Thanks for the sing-song citation. I might do a bad and torturous karaoke of that song for my friends tonight.

    Mungaru MaLe (South-West Monsoons) is a lovely Kannada film shot in the western ghats with rain as the predominant feature. The movie is clean and has melodious songs sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. Lyrics are equally wonderful. Enjoy!
