Long ago, Cathy Drennan mentioned a song in her MIT Opencoureware on how she taught her then four-year-old daughter the colors of the rainbow employing a 'They might be giants' album. My curiosity shot up! Later ...later, while watching 'The Umbrella Academy' on Netflix, I heard the song "Istanbul" by the same musical group: TMBG. Gettu, we are in luck! Just now, I looked up if TMBG ever performed any rain song? Not any rain but they staged a 'pencil rain'. The possible dream Finale of seem The moment that some call eternal that some call insane Now helmets on each head awaiting the first lead The pageant is named the pencil rain The infantry stands And holds out its hands The marshal's binoculars focus and skyward they train They're searching the yonder blue They look out for number two The heraldry of the pencil rain The song is open to interpretation on the imagery of that 'pencil rain', is that pencil a stand-in for authorization or artillery, as in pellet from the military artillery or from the bureaucratic dispatches. All forms of rains have graced this thread, so, now elevating it with incomprehensible rain.
This thread is the regression hypnosis into childhood memories. That song ...that song from the movie "Voyage of the rock aliens" ...that song ...what is that song. I never spared any movie featuring an alien in any role.
