    Dear Arunaji.....:)
    There you go......Many truths unveiled.....:bowdown
In our college, our seniors were choosy...they didn't trouble the week -hearted....It was we , the little bolder ones who were caught and humiliated.....
True dear.....better that ragging is banned....but, the younger generation are missing the fun we had......:thumbsdown

    Hi bhargs,

    I enjoyed the post:)

I would say harmless ragging has to be there. It is all a part of growing up and fun.

I was always in a day school and college so have totally missed out on this.but I do hear stories from my bro
and hubby and quite envy them for the fun they had.

Liked your asking for a lift to London the best hahaha.

There was not much ragging in our college. We were just asked to sing and dance. We had an unwritten rule that telugu seniors will rag telugu juniors and similair for tamil and north indians in hostel. It was mild ragging only .
I know tamil and telugu well and i was given telugu senior's room to share with.So tamil seniors didnt call me thinking i am telugu and telugu ppl didnt called me thinking i am tamil :) so i escaped :)my friends will say ...wait for one day, both ppl will call u and rag u specially :) Before my seniors knew this,we became friends and no ragging for me ...Only thing till first year end we had to wish them everytime we see ...

    Bhargs,

Very cute post and I can so well relate to it :)....Ragging in optimal doses would do wonders for a junior-senior relationship, spake one of my omniscient seniors, so it did and how! I am tied down to this senior for life now! Apart from giving me cherished memories with my then senior and now DH, I had quite a few interesting ragging moments to groove over....
We had to start our day by wishing the seniors in slang, like we did when we were in Kindergarten, it was funny... and the usual assignments...we had to hand over our bio-data when asked for.....surprisingly I was asked for more number of bios when compared to my friends, I was later told that my classmates (the boys of course) had asked for those 'extra' bios under the mask of the seniors....Thanks Bhargs, for making me walk down the path again!

    Hi Special.....
That's too smart of you ...:thumbsup...Thanks for sharing this anecdote dear.....:)
    Wishing daily....was very taxing na......
One of my seniors was my school teacher's cousin.....
I thought it was fine to just say a "Hi" to her...and, she retorted immediately very caustically......"Mind you...you are talking to a senior....!!!"...I was.....:shaking::bang
