Raavan And Covid19

    Long ago came a ten headed monster we’ve heard

    But never seen

    He came from across the border and hit us hard

    Took away our peace

    Called Raavan – to destroy our World

    Lo we had a savior then, none other than Lord

    To keep us at ease

    HE isolated Himself in the forests to take on the hazard

    And put us at ease

    Now comes a tiny monster well known and heard

    But still can’t be seen

    He came from across the border and hit us gently

    Gave us illness

    We look for our savior, where is the Lord?

    To fight the disease

    Many say HE is inside temple, mosque or churchyard

    But not to be seen,

    He is locked down by Man and Man is on guard

    The world is on lease

    Who is this monster – is it created by Man!

    Put on your masks, as we can’t see

    Who is our savior – where is the Lord?

    To kill this disease

    Called Covid 19 – ruining our World created by Lord

    Isolate yourself

    Wait for your turn to bring on the urn!

    To bring COVID ashes in urn or....

    Many Ravanans roaming around with or without their extra heads remain invisible around the world. Each Nation having it’s own version mighty powerful n times of mythological character produced or having COVID vaccine ready and going to time their plundering around the globe enjoying monopoly of the anti vaccine product . A world
    With multi million dollars buz.

    There is a version of Ramayana according to which the mighty ten headed Ravavanan was a monarch in central Bharatha boomi later shifted his HQrs to Lanka. Dr. Subramanya Swami quotes in recent interview with a reporter a sequel to ancient capsule discovered on the sites of demolished Babri masjid by archeological dept of India.

    Disease has come out of man plundering Nature & She in turn created this invisible war which even ballistic missiles can not destroy. It is believed few nations built up their armoury around the biological methods. In Vietnam war we heard of this kind of weapons used.

    I enjoyed reading your lines with above mixed feeling.

    2. Densely populated city Mumbai in particular and Maharashtra in general are quite frenetic for economic activities stands now alarmingly as high risk COVID place. I trust Dombivilli is free from this menace. Yet you put your heart out in that poem concluding it with a sincere prayer calling Almighty Warrior to help all.
    3. You are a senior member perhaps still active in CBI -ACB & so you post far and few between. I trust you have great potential to post winning episodes already stands established by winning posts under signature Line.
