This is my mom’s recipe of “Quick and Crunchy Masala Pori (Puffed Rice)” Heat pan and add a teaspoon of oil. Add a pinch of asaefoetida, a pinch of salt, a pinch of turmeric powder and little sambhar powder (less than a quarter spoon) and add 4-5 smashed garlic cloves (add them as whole) and sauté for few seconds. Then add the Pori(puffed rice) and blend it with the masala, keeping on a high flame, for a minute or two. Now the Hot Crunchy Masala Pori is ready with nice aroma. This is a quick snack and tastes too good. :thumbsup
