Question about mumbai custom rules

Hi ladies,

Iam travelling from newark to mumbai and will be carrying 2 gold chains
(12 gms each), 2 of my fingerrings and 2 earrings in my bag.Actually all these items are used .Do i need to declare about it in mumbai customs.?

Please guide me as iam totally unware of it

Hi Saraswati,

No need. If asked you can say its used, thats it. I carried in hand luggage while i travelled for my Brother-inlaw wedding 2 yrs before.
