I got my periods on 02-03-2008. my menstural cycle should be for 27 days. can u tell me when can i ovulate

Dear Hema,

This is a date which can best be determined only over a period of time. For a normal cycle of 27/28 days, ideal fertile days would be 14 to 17. But this cannot be taken as final. Some women rupture around 11 days. My suggestion is that you consult a fertility consultant or even a regular gynaec. They have strips that will measure body temperature and guide you on ovulation. Some will suggest taking basal temperature every morning over a few months and then pin pointing the exact day. Goodluck!

Hi

I am new to IL. I am married one year back. I want to conceive. I want to know generally from which day to which day is the fertility period. Does it depends on the length of my cycle? Generally I get my periods for 27 or 28 days. Any one please help me out in this regard.

Hi,

As you have 28 days cycle,your ovulation day will be 14th day from your period and your fertile days will be 12,13th.

U can visit the site mymonthlycycles.com. Go to ovulation calculator and put in ur dates. It will calculate ur ovulation date depending upon ur last period.
