Hi All, Can any one of you help with the process of giving POA to a relative for purchase of property in bangalore. I tried googling the same, and the process is pretty confusing. Its stated in some places we have to go to registrar office and get the POA done on a stamp paper and get it registered with 100/- If any of you can provide the exact process, it will be of great help to me. Thanks in advance.

Hi vj, If POA is done in India then it has to been done on RS 200/- Stamp paper .If it is done outside India then POA is drafted on a plain sheet and then notarized from indian embassy and .After sending to india it has to be registered. Regards, Saraswati
