Dear All, by gods grace i delivered my first baby yesterday (07.06.10 12.28pm) at chennai, and now my husband coming from Dubai to Chennai on coming friday, so i need your valuable advices to guide me for what are all the useful and important items to bring from Dubai to Chennai for baby care and post delivery products.

List of items that would be useful to bring from here : Avent Bottle Sterlizer ( Mothercare) Breast Pads ( Available @ Mothercare) Miracle Blanket ( to keep the baby snug while sleeping)( MotherCare/ Centrepoint) Breast Pump ( Just in case)( Mothercare) Knee Pads ( ones the baby starts to Crawl) Sudocream ( Best for diaper rash) ( Carrefour Infant Section) These are some of the items which I could think of as of now , will post soon if i remember anything else ! diposable diapers ( little larger size ... to be used when going out after 2 months or so) disposable baby wipes Hooded Bath Towels plastic pants to wear over cloth diaper non slip mats during baby bathing olive oil ( if necessary ) baby clothes ... if you wish to buy it here , just go to baby shop and you will get so many options , always buy larger size may be 3 - 6 months ones as the baby would outgrow the new born size very fast . avoid buying baby powder or soaps or lotion ... you ll get it in abundance in India as gift
