    yes its correct Punjabi never put sugar in curries. From my knowledge..sugar put only in Gujarati's dishes ...

    Punjabi foods are full of spices and oil. if you are searching for a best Aaloo Matar recipe then go for it here:
    boil some Aaloo and peel the Aaloo keep aside for some time. put 4 tbsp oil in the pan add 1/2 tbsp jeera, 1/4 tbsp methi and 1/4 tbsp saunf and hing in the oil. add 2 medium size cut onions to it and ginger garlic paste of 1 tbsp. cut the Aaloo in half peices and add in the oil fry it for some time make sure it wont stick in the pan keep stir carefully. now add boil peas to it. add 2 big size chopped tomatoes and now add haldi1/4 tbsp, 1/4 tbsp mirch and 1/2 tbsp coriander powder. Now add 1/4 tbsp of garam masala and salt to taste. now add 1 cup water and cook it for some time. Your Aaloo Matar will be ready to eat in 10 minutes. add some freshly chopped coriander leaves to it.
