hey NARRA,:bowdown meeru ikkada kuda.ur reciepes r good.

yesterday i prepared paalak-chaana curry. the method is same as to paalak -paneer procedure. the only thing is i used boiled chaana instead of paneer. and finally i sprinkled grated paneer on the top. we liked it .

    Hi custard,

Sorry for the late reply. For a small bowl of sprouts I microwave for 1 minute. These sprouts tastes as good as stir fried or boiled ones.

How do you sprout them? Do you leave it in water for a couple of days? Or do you just soak them over night and lay them on a towel for a day or so?

    Hi Custard,( Tasty name)

    Very nice thread..

I love sprouts specially, moong and kale chane.. Once they sprout, I fry them for a minute. First i put half table spoon of desi ghee in a wok, then little bit of jeera, then sprouts, 4 tablespoon water and salt. They get slightly boiled like taste. I mix lemon juice and sometimes onion and coriander.. It tastes very nice.

    hi manaswani

    making sprouts is very easy.

First day suppose morning you soak green moong in water. Let it soak for whole day.

Then at night, drain the water fully, no water should remain.

2nd day let it remain, by the end of day u will see moong sproutings

3rd day morning it will sprout fully.

no need to tie in cloth etc..... I do this was. Only thing is 2 day ahead u have to think and plan, if you want to make sprout bhel or chat.

P.S.: Hi custard. You have started a healthy thread :thumbsup

Kale Channa is Green Channa or Brown Channa?
ya... slightly cooked or uncooked Sprouts are more Nutritious than completely cooked.
