    Hi,

    Here is my way of making kabuli chole-
    kabuli chana- 250 gm
    chana dal- 50 gm
    Boil kabuli chana and chana dal with haldi powder and salt in the pressure cooker. Roast coriander seeds,red chillies, cumin seeds, saunf,cinnamon,cardamom,cloves,pepper and little ajwain seeds. Fry 2 chopped onions in little oil till brown colour. When cool powder the roasted ingredients and grind the freid onions with garlic,ginger and green chillies.

    Heat oil in pan saute the ground paste for some time, add two chopped tomatoes and saute till it becomes soft. Now add 1 tbsp imli paste and saute for some time. Now put the boiled chana the stir for some time. You can add more water if you want more gravy. Adjust the salt and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with rice or rotis.
