public libraries or book lending shops in chennai

    Hi all,

    i love reading books(telugu or english) but in chennai i am unable to find the place where i get it.

    all books we cant buy... so i dont want to buy the books... just for lending or any membership based libraries which provide books for ten days or so

    i want to know how all the members in this forum are reading these many books:idontgetit:

    Please help me to find a place.

    Hi @navathaj23 welcome to the book lovers forum. Not sure which part of Chennai you are from. There are quite a few lending libraries in West Mambalam area. Also, there are good old/roadside book shops in tnagar, pondy bazar, luz, moore market areas.

    Having been at the Easwari Library, that is a place which is highly recommended. If you are in the neighborhood [you can research if it is near or far from you], then it is a place to visit. They have good selection [at least for me], and the people there are quite friendly based from the few visits I made there. I hope you find a similar experience as well.
