    If you have two pennies left, spend one on a loaf of bread and one on a flower.
    The bread will give life; the flower, a reason for living.


    I like this saying very much, hope all can grasp its meaning. I understand it as:
    Learn to see (and spend for?) the beauty in life, the beautiful things (like nature!), else life will become a drudgery, only working for bread.

    (Of course, it also can be argued, that the best things in life are free, the simple things)

    This quote was used by a participant to convey the message that anything that was done whole-heartedly out of one's own will had a positive effect and signified growth. Anything which is forced upon some one against his/her will will have a negative impact and will be counter productive.
