Property Shows on TV

I wanted to start a thread on TV shows based on housing.

What do you guys follow?

Here is my list along with channel.

Property Matters - NDTV Hindu
Love this show, one primary reason is because this is based in Chennai.
Sara, the host is good too. She must have been a designer herself.
No idea, why this show was stopped. This had highest rating on this channel.
NDTV Hindu is going down on quality of content. I was happy it being a first English channel based in the city but I am seeing more Tamil content.

Property Matters - UTV
Hands down this is one of the best directed shows in India.
Unfortunately, they do not cover Chennai.
Vikram Oza is the best TV show host hands down. Best show to watch nice homes across the country.
It is also stopped now. Waiting for next season.

Property Plus - Zee TV
Not good. But still a nice effort.

Property Show - NDTV
Show with one of the highest ratings in the country.
More investment based show than as a design showcase.
Manisha does a nice job. Show covers all parts of country.
Sameer is also pretty good.

Hot Property - NDTV
Smaller 30 min weekly show.
Covers some homes. Some content taken from Prop show.

 

Couple of my favorite shows that I follow when I am in US.

Open House - NBC
Sarah Gore, anchor is impressive. Some homes in this show make your eyes pop.
The show has some high end properties and covers all the major cities in US.

Bring it Home - WGN (Local Chicago TV Show)
This show has a nice concept. The host Rochelle, visits designer's houses.
Tries to model one of the rooms for cheaper. She buys similar stuff from Chicagoland stores.
And then gets a rating from the designer itself.
Love this show primarily because it makes shopping easy. I can easily go to the store they show.

Selling New York - HGTV
They show selling and buying of prime time NY city condos.
It is from Realtor's perspective. Nice units and crazy high prices.

It is one luxury homes. The one of the complexes that they show is from a DLF property in Gurgaon, Aralias.
One of the best in India.

This Apt is nice. Somethings like fountains are over the top.
I am not a big fan. Tiny toilets.
They say simple, but many things are over the top.
Though tiled marble is good.

 

How about us starting one.
There will be some channel for sure to pick it up.

We should hire Paloma to host the show.
