Hello ils':hiya iam new to post some information in this site but when i saw this thread i wished to share my thoughts with u for past years of my experience iam using this method and it comes very well 1.take 5lts of water into big vessel (normal water) 2.take 200gms starch powder (this is not a branded one it will b available in every roadside provison stores but not in supermarkets) 3.mix the powder in water so that lumps r not formed 4.then put it on stove on high flame 5.stir continuously(or peridically) 6.after 10mins see the consistency of starch by touching if u feel it is sticky and thick then it is over 7.let the starch to cool 8.now take some amount of starch intoa bucket and pore some water 9.now dip the dress/saree in that make sure that cloth is evenly dipped in the starch(dress/saree should washed and dried one only ) 10.now squeeze the cloth to remove extra starch and let in sunlight this is little bit time consuming but an excellent method and also very cheep A packet of starch will cost 10/- to 20 /- only and it suffies for 10 -20 cotton sarees 8.
