You can order online. I don’t know about the brick and mortar stores.

Thanks, @MalStrom for the tag. I am not really a brand person, I buy what I love. However, with years of trial and error, I have found out what I gravitate towards.

I like different types of clothing from different stores.

Dresses and blouses: I find well made and affordable dresses from Ann Taylor and Loft, Banana Republic, White House Black Market (WHBM), Talbots, Anne Klein, Calvin Klein (Kleins are usually from Macy's).

Pants and Jeans: The best fitting bottoms for me are usually curvy fit from Ann Taylor and Madewell (Nordstorm).

Skirts: J Crew has the best pencil skirts. I also like Ann Taylor for pencil and A-line skirts and WHBM for full skirts.

Outdoors: For casual, outdoor clothing, I like LL Bean, Land's End, and Patagonia (or Amazon if looking for Columbia hiking pants for instance).

I am petite so my options are limited to places that sell my size. I have also found some well-made, cute clothes at Amazon and Walmart.

Yes, only a few stores though. There are two in NY and one in LA.

Great Suggestions! Never heard of Polarn O Pyret. I love Tea Collection. Jack and Annie also make very cute dresses for little girls.

Totally depends on your parenting. If you tell kids these are high-end brands, they would know otherwise they won't. At least not until they are in middle school and kids talk about hip/trendy stuff. I buy quality clothes for my kids but they never know whether those clothes are expensive or not. They also have clothes from Walmart and hands-me-down from our friends.

Everything is branded- even cheap brands like Faded Glory are still a brand.

Yes, I know that the thread is for girls clothing. I was replying to @malstorm since other poster asked for women’s clothing in this thread.
