Is preethi mixie good? or butterfly?
what are the features available in preethi and how long will it last?
what other mixies are good for indian cooking?

Sumeet is best and u still get this in chennai rathna stores,I am still having sumeet and a magic bullet mixie.my friends r having preeti .heard repair and spare parts r easily available.

I have preethi and going on good (touch wood) for the last 9 yrs. My mom/sis all have preethi.
The key is to get any brand which is suitable for 110 volts , rather than buying the 220v ones and using it with transformer/converter.

Preethi is the best because some model gives guarantee(she says so in the ad).

Jokes apart, yes, Preethi is better than butterfly. It takes better loads.

does preethi mixie have juicer attachment too? is that good?
could someone give me the difference in sumeet and preethi? is there more jars/ attachments for preethi?
my sumeet and my mom's sumeet are old ones going on strong! but i need to get one for my sil.

Charrl,I think sumeet does not have juicer attachment ,preeti I have seen juicer attachment .i think sumeet is good for cleaning extra as the blades can b removed or cleaning,I don't know about preeti,if blades r fixed r removable

I have preethi with juicer. I am not very impressed with it. Mine had all issues, the belt on the mixie went off quick. The knob to turn broke and i replaced.
