    Hello all,

We want to buy a Preethi Eco Chef mixer from a friend. She got it from delhi for Rs.3500 & barely used it but selling as they are leaving.

Is it a good model to do Indian cooking? I read some online reviews saying the jars are not convenient for cleaning or the it did not work etc.

    Thanks.

    Bindu.

    hi bindu ,
i too bought a preeti mixie from a person whomoved to india before two years. it works so good and she used only for 6 months . i checked only for the original product. otherwise mixie is so convenient. check for the motor . regarding jars its little incovenient in the sense it has attached blades use long handled flexible brush to clean .itsnot big problem. it grinds so well for chutneys, making dry chilli powders, idli, dosa batter.... compare with the product detail onloine...and buy it if u like it.its good mixxie for india cooking.

I am using preethi mixie for the past four years. It works really great. Don't be skeptical about its usage for indian cooking. You can go for it without any iffy thoughts :thumbsup

I'm using Preeti Blue Leaf. The looks are contemporary, works fine, but the design is lousy, not user friendly at all... So stay away from Preeti Blue Leaf.. (no clue abt Eco Chef, but heard that chef pro plus is a good buy)
