A few years ago, I executed a simple PoA to allow my brother to sell land in India that belonged to both of us. Some people call it No Objection document/certificate. In America we call it "limited" power of attorney. A power of attorney that is limited to decisions on a specific thing.... like bank account, flat, house or land. You can download Limited Power of Attorney forms from the internet. The keyword is "limited" -- specifying the exact nature of the power of attorney. You read a few formats, download what you like, fill it out with the particulars of the property, and the powers, and then go to a Notary (there is usually one in a bank ) with your identification document, and sign in front of her. Create a few originals, because sometimes the desi relative may need more originals. That's about it. good luck.
