Postpartum Problems

    Hi All,..

    I delivered a baby boy on 11th dec by ceasarian ..I am feeling physically good now .. however, few problems i am facing

    1) I generally dont feel any pain in stitches .. however during intercourse.. stitches are at time painful .. seems like skin around them is stretching
    2)i also feel uncomfortable while sitting down and getting up .. my legs .. ache .. is this sue to increased weight ..

    anyone facing these problems

    These are quite common issues after a C-section. Try to do simple excesises and control your diet which will subsequently resolve your issues.
    Try to do on Kegal excersises to tighten the muscles in uterus area.

    As priyaMommy says, its quite normal for these problems to happen

    It ll take some time for ur body to settle down after C-Section

    Does the pain in the stiches gradually go away ..
    what type of exercises are recommended for this ?

    dear,

    The pain will take according to my Gyna a max of 1 year to subside...till then its normal to have some irritation or pain

    Kegel exercise - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
    This will help with the pelvic floor muscles, not sure about your c-section sutures. Maybe a different position rather than missionary might help. Also, if you are like me, then you may have some scarring around the suture area. A vit E oil massage helped me with reducing the scarring around the episiotomy and reduced pain during intercourse. HTH
