    hi bhuvana

just copy pasting what another user has already posted

posterior means.. placenta attached to back side of the uterus wall.. so baby grows towards belly.. so movements can be seen earlier..anterior means in opp. direction that belley side and baby grows towards back of uterus.. i.e. spinal cord side.. so you may feel back pains..

But there is no harm has been detected for posterior/anterior placenta.. its just a place where it got implanted in uterus walls..

Whether your placenta is in an anterior or posterior position does not make any difference to your pregnancy. so there is nothing to worry:thumbsup

True...as long as there is no placenta previa..placenta being close to the cervix..there is nothing to worry about.

exactly, placenta has to be posterior to the uterus, where else should it be?

only placenta previa becomes a complication in delivery
