Jeni, dear you are a beauty! Get well soon baby. I didn't realise she is a big girl(I mean GSD)...was imagining as a 4/5 month old pup ...perhaps a Pom. It must be really heartrending to see her lying around inactive. She has an intelligent look in her eyes...GSD's are all very alert always. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
hahahaa She is 1 year 3 months old She is recovering very fastly. Thanks to you all Though she look like a big girl, in personal she is not, she is still a baby girl around 3- 4 months. She always love to play. As a GSD she may look big in appearance, but in really she get scared for squirrel and rats Yep all GSD's are very alert, including her.
Nope Aishwarya since last week they are on Christmas holiday the report is getting delayed, may be by tomorrow I will get it. Once I get it sure I will update here. And now she is 100% back to normal ) Tablet is going on for next 2 weeks. She is good, but still some hair loss are there. Once we get the report we can fix that too.
Just now I got the blood report, they have mentioned E.canis positive for Jeni. Waiting for the doctor. After talking to her I will update here.
Thanks Aishwarya, Dr told to continue doxycycline for 21 days. After that we can check again. Its confirmed, ticks fever is positive Hair loss is low when compared to the past days She is back to normal now. will keep updated here. Tomorrow am gonna talk to my vet. 4 months back Jack also had the same issue. He also got the tick fever, DR prescriberd doxy for 21 days. but still we are giving it. while giving doxy he would be normal and active, once we stop giving doxy, from next day he wont be normal, stop eating and drinking water. I dont want Jeni to be like that too. I wanna check on that. Hope both will be fine soon ) Happy New Year
