    2 questions.

    1. How much cal are you burning daily?
    2. What are you taking for your dinner?

    Hi Anjali,

Good to see your son in display foto:)
    Cute..

What's that gravity class? New to me. I went for spinning once. Thats all.

To say,am not doing anything at home dear. I go to gym 5 days a week(sometimes weekends too if I miss a weekday). I try to burn 500 calories per day. I eat only fruits & drink milk for my dinner. This is the magic working out for me to loose 15lbs. Once overall wt reduces then am going to go for tummy. Slowly, planning on doing ab crunches at home itself.. But all people tell that my tummy is not that visible seems.. So no worries 4 that as of now.

    Good luck anyways!

Diet plan for postpartum weight loss

    Hi,

I am a strict vegetarian. I have gained almost 20 kgs in this one and half years due to pregnancy and delivery. Now my DS is 6 months old and I feel that it is the right time to start losing my weight and be back to normal. My DS is not exclusively breastfed. So can anyone suggest me a diet plan which i can follow bcoz I am totally stressed out Witsend, none of my clothes fit me and i am seriously looking like a monster lady.

    Thanks
    Kalpana

Re: Diet plan for postpartum weight loss

    hey Kalpana,

Even i too have the same situation. Gained 32 pounds and now my son is 8 months old, after 5 months i tried many ways to get rid of this stubborn fat, i have joined heavy workout classes too. But ya i will tell you diet plays a most imp role. since i skipped carb in dinner it helped a lot. like dont eat roti or rice aur any carb in dinner time. have juice, fruits, sprouts anything light and check if this works for you..:thumbsup

Re: Diet plan for postpartum weight loss

This is what I tried both times-and since i too wasnt BFing exclusively, i was a little lax about my meals-
    mornings-warm water and honey.
b/f-sugar free cereals with milk and fruit
midday-nuts or fruit or marie buiscuits.
luch and dinner-2 phulkas with lots of veggies and dal and a cup of curd.
    post dinner-glass of skimmed milk.
20 min of treadmill at the rate of 6 kmph.
10 min of light ab exercise.
of course, plenty of water and two cups of tea without sugar.

    Deepa.

    Suryanamaskar

Just today I read that Suryanamaskar is one of the best forms of exercises for reducing the tummy after delivery. Has anyone tried this? How many days after delivery (normal/C-sec) can one safely start exercising?
