This is normal. If you stopped pumping/feeding recently then it is possible that your body is still producing milk . Your breasts are painful since the milk has not dried up . This pain will be there for a few days and will eventually go away as your body stops milk production. Meanwhile if you have too mcuh pan, you can express a little milk to relieve you of the fullness. But only remove a little of the milk from each side and not too much. If you continuously keep removing too much your body will keep producing more and more .

    Vaginal dryness

    Ladies,

My vagina is dry often. I tried to use coconut oil before IC and it helped me!! But now then we are on birth control, my hus is using C's(condoms) and instruction on C says not to use any lubricants/oils/vaseline also. So, my vagina is even more dry when using C's.. I didn't like this.. We are still thinking whether to use birth pills or not. Hence ended up with C's temporarily.

Any ideas/suggestions to reduce dryness? Do I need to call my GYN for this?

Are C's so sensitive towards oils?

You should not use oils with condoms and actually not oils down there at all. But you can get water based lubricants at any drug store or even in female section of grocery store...read the labels and you will find some that you can use with condoms. There are also some with ingredients for enhancing female pleasure.

    Thanks Tas..

Today I called my nurse and she suggested me to use 'KY jelly'.
    Anybody has used it?

    Dear Anitha,

My gynec suggested KY Jelly and I used for couple of months. Absolutely safe and if I recollect correctly its a Johnson product. One of my friends adviced to take loads of hot water, I started taking 2 litres per day and I had ample cervial mucus after that and never felt that dryness. I still see that feel dry if my water in take is reduced.

    Anitha:
KY is what the doctors use so that is what they normally advise. KY makes several different formulations now so look through and see what sounds good. The other brands should be fine also like AstroGlide. My guess is that all this will sort out when your hormones settle down. Also be sure that you have the best mental environment for sex: enough foreplay, no anxiety about birth control issues, no interruptions, no anxiety producing conversations, etc.

    Re: Vaginal dryness

    Radha,

    Perfect info.
Oh jelly worked out for you? Great. Where did you buy it? All pharmacies should have it right?
Water=Hydration. I will try to drink more.. Am already drinking bottles of warm water(even in hot summer).

Actually I was getting cv before and all but after delivery that area became too dry. I think cv will come out only during ovulation and not all on days. Jelly should be applied only before IC?

    Tas,

You are true. I will try K jelly and see..

    Radha,

You're 100% true. CM will be seen during ovulation week. I was about to buy jelly but then I saw wetness in my vagina this week. So not going to buy as of now. Drinking more water too.

Am now seeing whitish discharge(may be am ovulating). Let me wait & watch.

    Anyways, thanks for info.
