    Re: post-partum period

    Hey Desi

I had my second c-section in April this year and I was having ON/OFF bleeding for almost 4 months. It used to be anywhere from dark red to light pink. I spoke to my OB/GYN and she said that it happens sometimes in BFing ladies. Don't know the logic though. Anyway now I am not having spottings, so things may be normal. Just give sometime to your body and relax. Maybe it will clear up on its own. Good luck.

    Re: post-partum period

Hi DesiPrincess....As Tikka said, If i had a strenuous day or if i work work or lift something heavy, then I bleed on the following days...This happened for almost two months after my pregnancy...and the Gyn finds it absolutely normal....my Gyn said those could have been the "after births" that are getting cleared off my Uterus....to be double sure, check with your Gyn again....

Dont stress yourself too much , stay calm and relaxed...things will get better....Enjoy with your bundle of joy....

    Take care,
    Sri

    Periods after pregnancy

    Hi all,
My son is now 7 months. My periods started last month only. Last month they were normal like they used to be before pregnancy. But this month it's quite wierd. There was nearly no bleeding first 2 days. But 3rd day onwards bleeding started and it's still going on. It is my 7th day today. Is this normal? Is there something to worry about? Do you think I should see my Gynae?
I have weaned my son off the day time feeding. Feeding only in the night.

Since your periods started just now after your delivery,it may take some time to return to regular.Have you stopped breast feeding completely?.Also talk to your gynaec and hear it from her.

    Hey,

I guess its perfectly normal as you said that you are still b/f at night. They would completely come back to the normal way when you completely start b/f.

    Don't worry , everything is fine :).

such inconsistency is a normal thing after delivery..to make things better you can visit your gyne...else give it time and your cycle will be back to normal
