Possibly conflicting ways and values

I stay with my PIL and as of now the situation is such that I will have to raise my kid in the same household. My PIL differ from me in their manners, ways, values and thinking in general in several ways. How do I bring up my child in such circumstances? How do I assess when to listen to them and when to take up things in my own way? I want the child to have the best of values as well as love and affection from everyone in the household. Please guide me.
