Possible Relocation from New Jersey to Atlanta Georgia

Since I have never lived in Atlanta, Georgia, I am seeking some information. I have the opportunity to get a transfer to Atlanta Georgia. I currently live in Central New Jersey. Here are my questions:

1) What are the areas / locations where Indians live?
2) What areas towns have good school districts? I generally like to see a greatschools.org ratings of 9 out of 10
3) In what area / place / sub-division do Indians buy homes?
4) What size house can I get for a budge of $400,000 in an area with good schools and lots of Indians?
5) If you have the opportunity to live and work in Dallas, Texas, would you prefer that over say Atlanta, Georgia? Please state pros and cons.

When I looked online on websites, I was surprised to see that a lot of homes in alapharetta is around $800K range. This is 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom 4000 square feet etc. Is that the going market price today?
