Positive Pregnancy Test But After An Hour

    I am 10 dpo today.took a pregnancy test and got negative..but after an hour it turned positive..anybody experienced this??is it an evaporation line?

    Pregnancy test is invalid if not read results within 5mins of doing the test .

    After 5mins any positive line is invalid

    I would also say that just 10days post ovulation is too early to tesf preg. If you are trying for baby and had intercourse exactly at ovulation time then wait till your next expected period start date and repeat the test and read results within 5mins

    The test should be interpreted only within the given period of time which is mostly between 4 to 6 mins.Please check the leaflet provided in the kit.
    Ideally first week post missed period is good to do the card test at home

    I have read the leaflet..but I have also seen people in forums getting a bfp after a bfp that came out of the time limit..that was why i was wondering if there are such people here too

    A doctor would not consider reading the test that way even if you show the positive line on the card.In such situations levels of beta hcg will be tested in the laboratory.
    Early morning urine is best for at home kit tests.
